Sharpen pencils about twice as fast as conventional single-blade manual pencil sharpeners. Shavings come out from both sides of the sharpening unit at the same time. Less stress is placed on the blade and the blade lasts longer because it can sharpen with fewer revolutions than a conventional single-blade manual pencil sharpener.
